Partly Foggy, an oil on masonite, is one of hundreds of works available through the Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM)'s 12x12 Member Exhibition and Silent Auction. Sales from the show benefit both PAAM and artists. Bids can be placed online up until 2 PM August 25 at
Newcomb Hollow Dune, an oil painted on a cradled wood panel, was selected by the juror for the All Work Square exhibit at the Creative Arts Center in Chatham, MA. The show is up through August 29.
The Addison Art Gallery in Orleans, MA has organized an exhibit around Henry David Thoreau's writings in Cape Cod. The premier reception for In Thoreau's Views is August 17 from 5 to 7 PM. On the morning of September 7 I will join other artists creating paintings en plein air, also inspired by Thoreau, which will be shown at a reception that day at Eastham Public Library from 2 to 4PM. Also at Addison Art Gallery in August, Road to Wellfleet Harbor will be part of the After Hopper exhibit, with a reception on August 25 from 4 to 7.
Saltwater Creek, an oil painting, is now hanging in Gallery 75 at the Art League Gallery in Old Town Alexandria's Torpedo Factory Art Center. You will also find unframed works of mine there, including some small oils and a number of watercolors.
